Meet Dr. Golyand

Dr. Golyand’s dental journey started with a family influence—his uncle, a dentist, sparked his curiosity in the field from an early age. As a teenager, Dr. Golyand gained hands-on experience working in a dental lab, where his passion for dentistry grew.

He earned his dental degree in Moscow in 1994, but his drive for knowledge didn’t stop there. Dr. Golyand moved to the United States, retraining and graduating from NYU College of Dentistry. He subsequently completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn and pursued advanced training in dental implantology.

In 2006, he purchased Island Family Dental, where he continues to practice with the same commitment to excellence and patient care that has shaped his career from the start.
